Gotta catch em all and build em! This has a very Lego like quailty and instructions were very easy to follow. Many videos can be found online of extra help is needed

My son has been wanting this for over a year since seeing the youtube video of someone assemblying and playing with it. I like that this engages him to think about how things work and develops his skills to focus since it is not a simple set to build.

Bought for my 7 year old, no issues with functionality. FYI, Megablocks are slightly harder to snap together to prevent them breaking apart like legos.

This build is awesome! Got it for my 13 year old who loves building Legos. I read some reviews where people had a hard time. I was worried but my son finished it in about 3 hours. He really enjoyed building this.

This Mega Pokemon Motion Pikachu is so much awesome and cooler than I could possibly imagine. I can hardly wait to see my Grandson's eyes light up come Christmas morning when he opens it.

First of all, this was so much fun to build! It took a few days but it was perfect! Very relaxing! If you’re thinking about building a nice set of Lego, this is it! Especially if you love Pikachu!

Horrible Quality! Grass was difficult to assemble the ends. Kept breaking apart! The mechanics inside don't work right. Can't make Pikachu run. Stick with Legos!

i was gifted this a few months ago. ive read that this is a difficult build for kids, but im 20 and struggled myself. the gear mechanism broke halfway through my build the first time by bursting through the base, so i had to start over, and upon further building, i realized i am also missing a piece completely. its a yellow 1x1 brick with a plus shaped hole, to use for rod placement. i can't even finish my build until i get a new one, i am pretty frustrated. its fun to build when i am doing it, but not fun when things are breaking constantly. a tip for those who struggle with the grass breaking: make sure the leaf corners are tucked in so theyre not pushing against the walls, thats what broke mine constantly.

The toy is great there is no promblems with it the only thing that was wrong with it was this piece to make the pikachu move broke the piece number is AM81428F if i could get 2 of those pieces that will be Great! Thanks Again!

It's amazing building set, worth the time and effort it took to build, even if you have to back track to make sure the crank system is working properly.

All pieces were included, even extras of some. Grass was a pain until I adjusted the gears so they weren't quite tight. Grass is very fidgety. Get one piece connected only to loosen another. Only reason I didn't give it a 5. I ended up gluing very thin ribbon to the underside being very careful not to fuse the moving parts together.

My son is 13. He spent 8 hours on this only to get to the hip joint and the next peice was millimeters too big to fit so he gave up. Not to mention he spent his own money and there were prices missing. I don't see how anyone can put this together in 3 hours according to other reviews. We are sticking with Lego brand only from now on.

My son was SO excited to receive this! It is very cute but has some very frustrating design issues, especially with the grass treadmill/track. It is so difficult to assemble and constantly falls apart! It was such a frustrating experience for both of us!

Thought this would be a perfect Christmas present, but all the positive reviews appear to have gotten a free product by the manufacturer. There are missing pieces, and the gears don't line up, ruining the mechanized aspect which is a huge part of their marketing. We are returning this defective product, and will not be purchasing from Mega Construx again.

not only were the treads for the moving grass one of the most difficult and hair-pull-worthy things I've ever built, but the head would. not. go. on. to the point where it STILL wouldn't attach with super glue. had to consider the set a wash

Missing pieces,and the finished model doesnt work right

Bought this cause my daughter loves Pikachu. Would not buy any more Mega sets after this. When you got to put head on, you can't place it easily. Had to rip the whole thing apart to put it together.

Love this! Definitely worth the purchase. My partner & I built it over a few days and it was a lot of fun. Very cute & the motion function throughout building works really well.
