This California wine is crafted with grapes from the coastal state's most notable winegrowing regions and aged in French oak barrels. With a rich garnet color, this dark red wine opens with aromas of jammy fruit and toasty oak. This Meiomi wine offers expressive dark berry and juicy strawberry flavors accompanied by toasty mocha and vanilla flavors. Produced with the addition of Spinning Cone technology, which targets removal of alcohol without sacrificing aroma or flavor, this lower alcohol wine offers a full-bodied taste. At 90 calories per serving, it's a California pinot noir that allows for a more prudent luxury. Until... I bought some for visiting friends and it was opened but some left. So as not to waste, I drank it and really liked it.. After that bottle was gone I brought out the 2nd I bought for those visitors, and drank it too... Ok.. I now like this red wine. !

I absolutely LOVE Meiomi Pinot, so when I saw this low cal version, I couldn't wait to try it. This wine delivers the same juicy flavors and will become my go-to weeknight indulgence. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a low alc red wine option that actually tastes good!

No body to this wine at all. Not even close to the regular pinot noir. Very light and fruity but zero depth of flavor. Do yourself a favor and buy the regular pinot noir.
