Melissa & Doug Blockables™ are connectable, stackable, and playable! The solid wood connect-and-play building blocks are perfect manipulatives to help preschoolers two and older boost developmental skills (fine motor, problem-solving, matching, storytelling, and self-esteem), while using their imaginations and having fun. Easy-to-grasp smooth, colorful wooden blocks fit together in a snap with large connectors that even little hands can push in and pull out. An illustrated guide shows how to arrange and link the Blockables™ to create multi-textured dinosaurs (T-rex, apatosaurus, pterodactyl, plesiosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus), or kids can use their imaginations to mix, match, and combine pieces to make unique figures and play their own way! The cubes are sturdy and well-built, with a smooth finish that gives me peace of mind. The kiddos love to stack and connect them together, and I love to see their creativity whilst designing their dinosaurs. I like that the pamphlet with design options offers suggestions whilst supporting every child’s imagination- seeing some of their creations gave me a good chuckle!

Such a fun and colorful dino set - my kids love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 2-year-old loves this and it was a hit right out of the box. The instructions are super clear – easy enough for little ones to start playing without much help. The pieces fit together well, and it’s really fun to build different scenes with the dinosaurs and blocks. Everything is super colorful and eye-catching, which definitely keeps my kid engaged. I also appreciate how sturdy the pieces are – you can tell it’s made with quality, safe materials. No sharp edges or tiny parts to worry about. It’s become one of our go-to playsets. Great for creative play and perfect for any little dinosaur fan! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really cute. Even the box is really cute. The toys seems so much durable and like they're built well. The quality seems okay. From a safety standpoint they seem okay. I suspect these will last for a decent amount of time, the case not so much so. The box that came in had a cute little felt handle the top which made it cute especially for gifting.

Love this new spin on building fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone in the family was so excited to get right to work on this Blockables Dinosaur Play Set! As a mom of course I noticed first that the packaging is so fun and the box is so perfectly durable and functional for storage for a long time. I have 4 kids ages 2,4,7, and 9 and the older two were very interested in figuring out how to build with this new type of building type of toy. They helped the younger two get started figuring out how to manipulate the blocks with the connector pieces. I really loved how everyone joined forces and were really quite fully engaged. This feels like a "big kid" type of toy complete with step-by-step building instructions and connector pieces, while remaining accessible to little people with somewhat clumsier hands. I am so impressed with the age group versatility of it. The bigger kids seem to enjoy setting up "the scene" with the backdrop pictured on the box and getting everything just right according to instructions, while the younger ones spend more time making their own creations and connecting the blockables into totally wild new creatures. The pieces are high quality and should stand up to a lot of use. What a fun toy!

My 1-year-old is getting the hang of using them. It’s so easy for her to hold the blocks on her own and assemble them herself. Very good quality and creative play set

My daughter is 2 and a half years old and these wooden blocks are just what she needed to explore her creativity. They are very well made and the connectors are just perfect for her little hands. The box that it comes in serves as a background for the role play and great for storing the pieces. This is definetely by far the best block play set we have ever tried.

Great entertainment toys for whole family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this Blockables Dinosaur Play Set. He spends hour playing with this set since we got it. I love that these are wooden with plastic connections. The pieces are so colorful, sturdy, safe and well designed. These pieces are big enough so it’s not a choking hazard for toddlers. The step by step picture book is so easy for a little boy to follow and start making fun dinosaurs. It’s great that he can also mix and match those pieces to create another dinosaurs that he likes. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur block set is so cute and fun to play with! My son sat for almost an hour building and pulling it apart. The pieces are big enough not to be choking hazards and securely fit together but are easy to pull apart. So much fun!

Fun building toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the opportunity to let my children test out Melissa and Doug’s Blockables Dinosaur Play Set for free in exchange for my honest review. This play set is super cute and the box it comes in functions as a scenery and storage which is very convenient. My daughter is the oldest so she was able to follow instructions and create all of the dinosaurs that were listed in the pamphlet. I think this set promotes a lot of important learning skills and I’m happy to let my children express their creativity since they can mix and match pieces. Really fun play set, would recommend.

Big hit with our 3 year old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 4 year old has played with these dinosaurs for no less than an hour a day since they arrived which is quite impressive. The visual instructions are pretty good for helping him understand how to build his preferred dinosaurs with a little help here and there. Our whole family has really enjoyed coming up with creative new dinosaur dinosaurs. The connectors are relatively easy yet a little challenging at times to use. They also function as top hats for some of the dinos which my kids also love. The box arrived a little crushed, but still usable. While it’s a cute idea to store and use as a back drop for play it’s not the most interesting to my kids and doesn’t lay flat so I don’t know how long it will last. My 2 year old who is obsessed with blocks and dinosaurs has taken less of an interest in them than if except and first seemed to liked just playing with the magnetic close of the box and filling it. He likes the dinosaurs, but more so likes to interact with these ones using other animals, people, or car toys we have so far. As a clinician who works with kids I think this is going to join my collection for work when my kids are done with it because it has so many fun opportunities for flexibility, creativity, and language.
