Get constructive play rolling with this heavy duty wooden dump truck, flatbed trailer, and front and backhoe loader! The eight-piece set includes four wooden construction pieces to scoop, haul, and dump, and a wooden road barrier to add to the construction site. The bed of the truck tilts, the trailer can detach from the truck and has a fold-down ramp, and the loader arms and buckets lift and scoop! All three roll smoothly on sturdy wheels and are easy for kids three and older to grasp and maneuver. Not well made
My child received as a gift and I’m fairly disappointed in the set overall. The backhoe is chipped in places and doesn’t sit properly on the trailer which has caused a lot of frustration for my child. The dump truck seems okay on its own but for the price I would say pass.

Very cute and well made, my toddler loves them, his favorite toys are all Melissa and Doug trucks and construction vehicles (he has four sets) they keep his interest over the long run much much more than the plastic things that make noise

Not a completely wooden toy
I thought I was getting a quality wooden toy but I was abit guttered to find that the digger is made of plastic. Wheels and both digger ends are plastic on the excavator and the wheels on the trailor and dump truck are plastic too. For the money I paid I felt these things could have been wooden as well.

I love these trucks. They are nicely finished with rounded corners and bright bright colors that my son loves them. I bought these with the trailer and excavator set and the only thing I could find fault with them is that they are not made to scale. My kid doesn't care, but it does bother me since I am a bit OCD.

Absolutely would buy this again.
This was a gift for my 3 year old nephew who has recently become enchanted with big trucks & road equipment. This dump truck & loader was a huge success. He loves it. It offers so many options for play. Thanks so much for your creative approach to children's toys.

My nephew loves this set!
We find the pieces to be well constructed. Moving parts work well. Little nephew loves to play and create scenarios. He even likes to tuck the pieces in with himself when he naps! Have purchased other pieces and sets. Equally pleased.

Fender bender
Bought this for my grandson. First time he played with it the driver side fender came off. I'm not impressed. Guess this be our last purchase of Melissa and Doug toys.

My son loved this but not well made
We have had this truck for a short time. We have many melissa and Doug toys and have not had any issues; however, my son dropped this one on the carpet and it broke. The way the dump part is connected to the truck is not well designed. Considering this truck costs more than the others it's disappointing! He liked it while it was working.
