Unhook the latches to open the barn doors and see who is inside, then close the doors and buckle up the barn again! This beautifully crafted sturdy wooden barn is brightly painted both inside and out. It features five brass-hinged doors with working latches and locks, and pictures of farm animals on the inside of each door. There’s even a brass handle on top to take the fun wherever kids go! The set comes with four approximately three-inch-tall flocked play figures-- a cow, a pig, a goat, and a horse --that fit in the barn. Great for fine motor development, as well as color and animal recognition; encourages creative play.

My 17 month old loves this barn and plays with it endlessly. She loves knocking on the door and then unlatching them. The animals are very cute and a great size for the under 3 set.

My toddler really enjoys this. I wish it had a few more animals considering the price. It’s heavy so if your child likes to throw things this might not be a good choice.

My son LOVES these farm animals! He takes them everywhere and plays with them all day. The only bummer is the animals ‘fur’ (kind of felt like) is wearing off quickly. He got it for Christmas and by new years the hooves were rubbing off. I wish the animals could be purchased separately from the barn as we definitely will not need another. The thing is sturdy- it’s been thrown or ‘dropped’ 30+ times and is fine!

I ordered this item online for pickup and it was not advertised as "open box". It was handed to me in a grocery bag at pickup so I didn't notice until I got back home. It was last minute Christmas gift so I didn't take it back and was forced to make it work. It was missing the animals inside and didn't have any of the original packaging. I think this was more of a store issue rather than a manufacturing issue. I will no longer do store pickups at that location.

I dislike the material on the animals started peeling off the first day we received this in the mail. This toy looks just like the picture. The quality of the toy is very great and durable except the material on the animals. My 1 year old loves this toy .

A good, quality-built barn. I'm also happy with the animal figurines; they're soft, lightweight, fit perfectly in my child's hands, and look like familiar animals to him. My son is almost 19 months old and he enjoys playing with the latches and opening and closing the doors to take the animals in and out. I also keep a small farm animal book inside the barn. Perfect for on the go.

It looks cheaply made for a Melissa & Doug toy. And for the price, I thought we'd at least get wood animals. The latches are nice but most of them are too complicated for my 2 1/2-year-old.
