Timer broke
While I was playing school for the 1st time with my granddaughter the timer broke. I usually love all Melissa and Doug toys.

Cute little kit
This was a fun little kit for my daughter. She doesn't actually use the box as it is difficult to stand up and ended up ripping not too long after we got it, but it is full of fun teacher stuff that she likes using. There are A LOT of stickers for calendar play and pretend lessons, etc, and they seem a little overwhelming or excessive and hard to keep track of. they also don't stick well.

i would not buy or recommend the teacher set.
I have always preferred Melissa and Doug products and have bought lots of them through the years. Quality has been very disappointing. Cardboard box came scuffed and since that is the desk that spoils the whole thing. Sorry but I just can't see paying these prices for cardboard.

Love M&D stuff but this was a no
It’s ok. My daughter who was age 4 when she got this & Is now almost 6, likes the little school bell & she likes the tiny dry erase board (however I do not lol) but the rest of the set & the box it comes in are pretty useless. Fun for a second but the little decals and stuff to play with are so thin and can’t really be reused. I do not like the dry erase board because it doesn’t actually erase well at all and I’ve tried everything to remove the marker staining on it (she’s only ever used the marker that came with the set) which is pretty ridiculous. One would think they would have made the board much more durable & actually dry erase lol, but I would compare it to being more like a laminated piece of paper as far as how well the marker erases after each use. :/

This is the cutest set for the little ones who love to play school. My daughters favorite thing to play and this set has everything you can think of included to pretend…hall pass, library card, attendance sheet, letter practice, math template, lunch card, etc! Absolutely adorable. I honestly wasn’t expecting much for the price and this definitely exceeded my expectations. If your child loves playing school, get it!!

Great product but need to rotate stock.
Everything was great. Only reason for 4 stars is the blue marker was dried out and the dates for the calendar were 2014-2018.

Love Melissa and Doug and buy their products religiously. I'm worried quality is going down. Velcro ripped off and dry erase doesn't actually erase. Timer bell and pointer are cute! Seems almost disposable after a few uses.

Very happy with the playset which was a gift for my granddaughters (ages 5 & 7). Very well made and the activities are exactly like those they participate in at school such as weather, calendar & daily jobs. The blue dry erase marker does not erase as cleanly as the black but otherwise a great product.
