Nearly perfect all-around shirt. But material quality and dye is disappointing

The construction and weight of the material, as well as the neutral color of this shirt made it a perfect candidate for an year-round, pracitcally any occasion shirt. However, the quality is questionable for the following reasons: 1. After a couple of washes, the material texture begins to change; Not quite pilling, but fuzzy. 2. The dye use is very sensitive to bleaching. I am careful to not use lotions and creams that may have a bleaching effect on parts of my skin that will touch the shirt. However, it has not prevented bleaching on the cuff/arm, and collar. I have also found other areas on the shirt becoming bleached.

I bought this for my son and he wore it one time and then I washed it and there are little fabric balls all over it. I ironed thinking the heat would help but still little fabric balls all over. What a waste of money. POOR quality!!

Well Made and Noticably Soft

Well done, Goodfellows! This Oxford cloth shirt has been in regular rotation all summer and is still going strong. The fabric seems to get softer with each wash, yet it can still be ironed if need be. I'm 6'3" and 200lbs and wear an XL or XXL, depending on the brand. I opted for an XXL, mostly for the length in the sleeves. Hopefully they'll have similar shirts in darker colors for the winter months!
