Men's Men's Wheelhouse 6 in Ankle Deck Boot

I really like these boots – as many others have stated, these run wider than the normal deck boots but are also more cushioned and stable because of the thicker outsole. I’ve had my pair for about two years, use them for yard chores, working outside, mud/snow, etc. I like the original deck boots for wearing on the boat since they’re lighter and less clunky. Still, I find these much more comfortable, wear them almost daily and would highly recommend them!

Comfortable deck boot, nice level of cushion compared to the standard XtraTuf deck boots. I have had these for about a year and they are holding up nicely. Clean up pretty easily as well. Like the description states, these are a bit wider so they fit me better with socks so I will generally wear these in cooler weather, for yard work, etc. Love them!

I bought these over a year ago and never wear them. They are way too big and clunky. I like the original ankle boots better.

The sole separated from the boot after a month and half. Very disappointed

They have incredible traction and are truly waterproof. Perfect for my job at a marina. However, within a week of wearing, they already developed pretty extreme crease marks above the balls of my feet. I can’t imagine they will last very long, and certainly shouldn’t be considered commercial grade until this issue is fixed. The reinforced toe cap doesn’t go nearly far back enough and just causes the material behind it to scrunch up and wear out sooner. Also, the fit is excessively loose even for me semi-wide feet. They cause a lot of slippage, though this can be alleviated with thicker insoles (the ones included are quite flimsy).

Great quality and comfortable to wear. My son loves them. Bought as a gift.

So far I have purchased 2 pairs of these boots for my husband. The first pair fell apart at the toe section after 6 months. At the time I had no idea there was a year warranty on them. The second pair I bought did the same thing but only after 2 months. I contacted xtratuf and was told they would replace them for free but not the same design. It took from first part of august to December with multiple emails to them before we received the replacement pair. And guess what. After 3 months they did the same thing. The toe section where it has the overlap comes apart and then leaks. Exact same thing on all three pairs.

I have two other pairs of xtratuf boots size 12 that fit great. These were 1/2 size too big. I don't wear them much because of it.

Delivery was fast. Boot looks exactly as shown in the picture. Fits to size. Nice solid rain boot. Only gave 4 stars because all companies should strive for an unattainable five stars.

Boots are worth their weight in gold if you work on the water, great for the mountains too. They aren't the most durable I've destroyed the heel portion inner liner on two pairs just by use but I'm still wearing them so I Recommend. Got these boots for free because the last ones I bought failed within about 2 months and my feet were soaked again. Came back to get the pair that was credited to me and they did not have a single size. When I finally got an email notification of my size I went ahead and ordered them.Size 13 like I've worn pretty much my whole life. They are like a size 15 and completely unusable

This is my second pair of Xtratuf ankle boots. My first pair of regular ankle boots lasted almost a year until they got a hole in the crease where your foot bends...this was alright because I got a lot of wear time from them. This time I decided to purchase the Wheelhouse ankle boots since they were commercial grade. First, let me say they are very comfortable (more support, wider and breath better than the originals). I recommended these to everyone then after 3 months they got a hole in the same place as the first pair! This was really disappointing because I loved them but am afraid to purchase another pair if I can only get 3-12 months use from them (these aren't my daily shoes either). I wish they were made in the USA (my first pair of Xtratuff boots are still in my closet and are perfect) as the quality was superb to the Chinese boots.

I have narrow foot so it is a bit wide, even in a half size down. But I love the product and it is still super nice to have I wear them all the time.

Easy to put on and take off without the need to bend down and pull the shoe up. Very comfortable and great looking.

My son has purchased 3 pairs of the deck boots over the past few years. He commercial fishes in Bristol Bay, Alaska. He bought the new wheelhouse deck boots and loves them. Roomier and perfect for on the boat. I purchased a pair for my husband. He already had 2 pairs of the regular deck boots. He wears a size 14 or 15 and the wheelhouse are perfect with how they fit.
