This Legacy Chelsea style boot by XTRATUF was inspired by hand-sewn creations seen in Alaska. This all-new Legacy Chelsea deconstructs our best-selling Legacy Boot and reassembles at a 6-inch height with a full-grain, waterproof leather upper, creating a whole new class of boot. Narrow stretch gore side panels and pull tabs affixed to the heel and vamp help you to place this pull-on Chelsea style. The vamp and outsole feature the same commercial grade performance and safety features of the classic Legacy Boot, but with a functional upper unit making it a perfect all-purpose winter and wet-weather boot. This rugged new boot from XTRATUF® is designed to keep you protected, dry and comfortable no matter where your adventures may lead.

Bought this model because it was on sale and now I know why: The seam between the upper and the lower is RIGHT ON YOUR HEEL. It rubs my heel with every step and wears holes in my socks. I can appreciate the slightly higher upper, as it means your pant cuff can cover the opening of the boot better, but I would rather just have the entire thing be one solid piece.

I love these boots the only reason I did not give them 5-stars is because the souls pick up rocks easily. Other than that, easy on, easy off, warm, dry and comfortable. I have only warn them a few times so time will tell on quality and how they hold up but Xtratuf has a great reputation.

The Chelsea Boots are great! I wear them in the winter to shovel and to take the dog out. They are a breeze to put on quickly! They don't slip at the heel. The boot is tight enough at the ankle to prevent a lot of movement. I am a 10.5- 11 and got the 11. Great fit
