Comfy and Warm

They Came Just in time for the cold weather to hit the East coast. They kept my feet warm and comfortable standing for hours through 20 degree temps followed by snow. Only issue is they cause my feet to sweat and slightly cold but still manageable. For areas with 20-40 F Temps , they pay for themselves.
Comfy but terrible, don’t buy for winter

I purchased my first pair of alpha force 400g insulated boots this year because I was tired of cold feet. I’m a Canadian law enforcement officer working in a patrol capacity. As such I’m in the elements fairly continually and feel I can provide a pretty well rounded opinion on their performance. First the good. Probably one of the most comfortable boots I’ve worn. Additionally despite our lovely Canadian winters I have yet to have cold feet this year (which is a first). They’re also probably the first winter boot I’ve owned that I’ve been able to run somewhat properly in. Now the bad. They are the most slippery boot I’ve ever owned. As soon as you touch any amount of snow or ice you’re on the pavement. I’ve slid between cars on traffic stops and most recently fallen flat on my back on the ice. I think even my old hanwags were better and they’re a glorified horse shoe.

Great Boots, Great Quality

I ordered these boots looking for something versatile to wear in all weather, especially with snow in mind. The boots looked great, and reminded me of my years in the military! I put them on and shoved the snow right after putting a couple coats of polish. They are great! I walked a mile to the store, and they felt great on my feet. These boots are so well made and the quality is better than what I was issued in basic. I wish I would have known about this company years ago, because I doubt I'll order from anyone different in the future.
Great look, but!

I bought the 6 inch boot prior and I have to say it was one of the most comfortable boots I've worn. I just bought the 8 inch boot with side zip and it almost feels like there's no inside cushion. The zip on the right boot malfunctions from time to time, but other than that good boot for the money!
Best boot ever

I purchased this boot in anticipation of a very cold winter. As a mail carrier, I am out in the cold all day walking most of the time. I have been wearing them now for about a month and love them. They are very warm and super comfortable. These boots are ready to wear on a long hike right out of the box. They are every bit as waterproof as advertise. The sizes are right on, I have a 9.5 foot and the 9.5 boot fit perfectly. The tread is very nice and aggressive enough to handle any terrain. I have worn boots through my 20 plus years of service, and this is by far the best insulated, waterproof all day walking boot I have ever used. The only downside to these boots (and it is only a downside because I like to have my boots on very tight) is that they are a bit difficult to lace up very tight. It takes a little extra effort to get them on tight, but once they are on, you are super comfortable and warm all day.
Overly SHINY!

Not even a month old and the glue holding the toe box to the sole is coming unglued. Unbelievable for the price I paid that they couldn't last longer than 30 days. Unreal. Terrible plastic piece that digs into your heel. I had to tape up the toes. I will never buy another pair of these shoes, and I'll make sure everyone that's looking for boots knows to avoid these.

I have not wore my boots yet. As they are winter boots, and winter has not yet begun, I have not as of yet worn my boots so a full review now would not be an honest and accurate one and therefore would be premature. Once winter falls and I begin wearing them, I will post a more thorough and updated review. I hope review readers will appreciate my willingness to provide an honest review.

I've had these for 1 year now and they have held up in rain and mud. They've kept my feet dry and get good grip in mud. I drive mostly n walk a few yards every stop. In and out of the truck at least 200 times daily.

I purchased these boots last year. One year later they still look new. They are warm and dry in Buffalo weather which ranges from sloppy mud to blizzards. The side zipper makes them quick on and off. After long days on hard surfaces my feet are not sore in these boots, but they are sore when I wear other boots. My daughter needed boots for work and college where she is inside and outside all day. I bought her a pair for Christmas this year, she tried them on and walked straight out the door to hang with her friends. For a teenage girl to like anything says a lot.

I bought these boots about a month ago. I read in reviews to get 1/2 size larger since they were insulated. Good suggestion! Fit great and very comfortable!

This is my third pair, but first with 400g of Thinsulate. I wear them daily and they last about 4-5 years before they’re worn out. Takes about a week to break them in, but then they very comfortable.

Been ordering from rocky for more than 10 years. Always get the alpha and the alpha 400g insulated. Once the boot gets broken in and conformed to your feet they are very comfortable I ordered a regular pair of alpha in December because the 400g were not available. Once the 400g became available I ordered them. 7 days later I got them. I've had them before and loved them that's why I bought them again. Let's see if these wear like the last few pairs I've bought during covid. The last few pairs didn't last nearly as long. I feel the quality and the longevity of lasting didn't last ANYWHERE as long as previous years. Hopefully these will last longer than the alphas I just bought in December. 2 months ago.
