  • A: Because target staff failed to mention this... the buttons on the front are fake, it fastens closed with velcro.

No way this was an XL

I buy XL because I like loose-fitting clothes, and to allow for shrinkage in the laundry. This is way too small on me. Can't even keep it tucked in. Yes, I checked and it is marked XL. They did not ship the wrong size. I'd give it a zero if that was an option. Unfortunately, I bought it late in the season and did not wear until now, so too late for a return. I'll be avoiding this brand in the future.

No buttons

As shown in only one photo, and NO WHERE in the description, this shirt has snaps fur the top two "buttons." The remainder are just velcro with the front of the snap in the outside. Great fabric and I loved the rest of the shirt but I needed a "button down" shirt.

Fake buttons and a deceptive product listing

Have to drill into Specifications to see that it’s a “hook and loop” (i..e. Velcro) fastener shirt. Wife bought this one for me, and I doubt either of us would have read the fine print or reviews, and would have simply trusted the product images. I’m returning it anyway, but I’d have liked to save the effort. Target, this is a bad product listing, and I'd call it deceptive.

Not a true button down shirt

This shirt is is not truly button down. The top button is a true bottom, but the remaining are just for show and the shirt closes with Velcro. This was not mentioned in the description and the “button down” product type is misleading. I’ll be returning it.

Velcro?! What in the world?

These run small and short compared to others my husband has of the same brand. Also, they have snaps at the top, but the rest is Velcro closure. Very strange, kind of noisy. Promptly returned.
