[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drywall screwdriver to use for high ceilings. I found that the weight of my cordless driver got to be too heavy after a couple of hour of use. It does not require a lot of pressure to keep the screw bit from bouncing out of the screw head, which happens a lot with my cordless drill. I would buy this again. I use this drill around the house and can't comment on its use in a commerical setting, such as a drywall contractor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to assist in renovating our master bedroom. We Tore down plaster and laugh that was unsalvageable and putting up new drywall. The speed and ease at which we were able to put up drywall thanks to this screwdriver was impressive. I'll never put up drywall again without this!

Yep had to return a (D) brand it came in bad. Needed another quickly so picked up this Hitachi. It does everything it needs to plus the extra line meant I do not need an extension cord most of the time! No need to hesitate on this tool! Plus super nice warranty!

Just purchased a house where had to put in 134 sheets of sheet rock. So I purchased this drywall screwdriver and you talking about cutting my work in half. It worked beautiful man it was so nice to use instead of a drill motor with a bit. YOU WON'T REGRET IN BUYING IT.

This tool has plenty of power. The power cord is very long. The drive is way to strong. Acts more like a impact wrench than a screwdriver. Slow speed is impossible to use.
For the do-it-yourselfer, this is a great addition

Hanging sheetrock is not something I wiill do on a regular basis. However, I chose to purchase this for the times that I do work with sheetrock. For the money, it is a great asset greatly reducing the time spent hanging any size piece of sheetrock. Once you set the depth gage it is easy to use and you get the perfect screw set.

The Hitachi W6V4 screwgun : has an easy quick release cone [which does not need to be reset for depth when replacing the cone] has a very quiet yet powerful motor and [one of the best features] has a 20-25 foot cord which does not 'catch' on ladder rungs, scaffolding and other obstacles which occurs frequently with most other screwguns needing an extension cord after 6 feet. Highly recommend this item.

I have never hung drywall before but had a great 1st experience with this tool. Drive the screws in well and sank them just like it said. Easy to adjust for depth. Would recommend.

When it works, it does work great. Using this screwdriver must require a technique that I have not mastered as the bit chews the screws more than 80% of the time. So it is very frustrating.
