I purchased the counter stool. It's ok, but not near as sturdy as looks in picture, and not worth the price. I had to have my husband go back through it and tighten all the nuts with a real wrench. The tools provided weren't up to the job. I'll keep it for a plant stand or extra seating for a light weight person, but I don't trust that it would actually hold 300 pounds.
