Q: Why are mike and Ike’s 1/3 the size they were when I was a kid. I used to buy them at our neighborhood variety store, loose 4 for a penny. Four flavors only. That was 70 years ago. I still love them.

A: keep the price the same and make the serving size smaller they make more money
submitted byricashay - 6 years agoA: Thanks for being a long-time loyal fan of our MIKE AND IKE® candies! The individual piece size is slightly smaller than it was many years ago. The smaller piece size delivers more flavor in every bite as well as more pieces in each package, offering a greater mix of flavors.

Q: How many prices are in a 5oz box of Mike and Ike?
submitted by Prices in a box - 4 years ago
A: Our packages are filled by weight not piece count, and since the individual piece sizes could vary slightly, so can the number of pieces from package to package. We can provide an estimated piece count per box, which is approximately 72 pieces. We hope this information is helpful.
