Q: Can you actually read these? As in, are there words inside or is it just a cover of the book?

  • A: There's actual words but you'd need a magnifying glass to actually "read" the whole book. Your eyes would get sore squinting through a whole page and there a little difficult to hold all the way open without breaking the spine.

  • A: The full book is not readable. The first few pages have actual words on them which can be read by the magnifying glass, but the rest of the pages are all scribbles. Not sure where the previous person who answered got their info, but don't think they've actually tried to read their mini books, otherwise they'd know only 1-3 pages per book are actually readable.

    Received the same books that were in series one. It would’ve been nice if the books were different too. Hoping to get the kitty cat. I got the lamp and the candle sticks. It would’ve been nice if the candlestick wasn’t all white and actually looked like it had a flame on the end.

    Not as Advertised!! Beware!

    BEWARE- NOT ACTUAL BOOKS! I am so upset and will be returning this waste of money item!! Misleading advertising at its best until you see for yourself! These are tiny sheets of paper glued together meant to look like a readable book. That's it. You open- pull out 2-3 little stacks of glued paper with a printed cover and less than 1 minutes later the experience and your money-done! I wish I could rate negative 5 stars.

    Parentd Beware of Smut

    “This was the first time I allowed him to put his hand all the way up my shirt…I liked the way he touched my…” That was from a mini book that my child opened and read using the magnifying glass. While these books may be a fun collection for some, parents beware. These should have a warning that the books may not be children’s books. They’re in the children’s toy section, rated for 3+. Didn’t realize I’d have to check for smut. If it was age-appropriate, I’d give more stars. But this is ridiculous.

    Book covers, not the actual books

    I love the idea, and the quality of the book covers is pretty good. Some of the little extra items are cute and good quality. Some are crap (teacup and saucer.) I bought 2, but I’m done. Finally got a magnifying glass and realized on a few pages are actually legible. The rest are just printed with scribbles. I guess they thought we wouldn’t notice. A rip off. You sold me copies of BOOKS. It’s not a copy of a book if half the book is gone. If you did blind boxes of the Harry Potter characters, would half their bodies be missing? Come on.
