  • A: If you look at the pictures (specifically pictures #7), you will see it is a duvet cover that you add your own insert. I like to just lay my duvet covers on top of my white duvet (not insert it). Makes it easier to take off to wash.

Q: What dimensions should the duvet I buy to put inside be? Since it is full/queen I wasn’t sure if I should just get a queen duvet to put in it. But even with a queen the measurements of the cover are much bigger than most duvet inserts I am seeing.

Ties missing and or sewn into seams

I ordered this and the first duvet came with 1 of the ties sewn into the seam. The replacement duvet also had tie issues and was completely missing 2 corner ties and the other two were sewn into the seams. Completely unusable. Threshold has gone down in quality.

Duvet cover has only 2 ties inside!!

Only gave 2 stars because it's a cute pattern and love the color. Not functional because there are only two ties to secure the cover to a duvet insert!!! Not sure if mine is faulty but after all the trouble I went through to pick a duvet cover, I was so disappointed to see a lack in quality with only two ties.

The plaid color is cute, but solid trim is not that nice. Followed washing and drying instructions, but it srunk beyond use. Now too small to use with the comforter. Very thick fabric.

Super inconvienient

This would be perfect but mine did not come with ties on the inside to tie it to the duvet. So your blanket will slide around inside and twist up and then you’ll have to continue wrestling with the blanket multiple times a week to try to straighten it out. As if putting on a duvet cover once isn’t annoying enough. For as much as this cost, it’s extremely disappointing. I splurged on this and definitely wish I hadn’t. I’m leaving two stars because the color is beautiful and the material is great. But it’s just not functional so I’ve taken it off our bed and can’t really use it.

Pretty, subtle gingham

A really pretty, subtle gingham. Definitely useable in spring or winter. I paired it with the Threshold thistle flannel sheets from Target. We've been enjoying it for the passed week. I like the feel of the cotton and I know it will soften over time. I like that it doesn't feel brushed like microfiber. No rips on ours. I'll bet others got ripped ones from box cutters when stocking shelves because the duvet set is not protected in anyway. Target didn't put this set inside a cloth wrapping like they do their sheet sets, so definitely inspect the exposed bits for cuts.
