I prefer the Despicable Me movies to this one, hands down, but my kids liked it ok so I bought it some time later (although honestly it got hidden away and then forgotten so we haven't even opened it yet!).

Okay, DM was great, and DM2 was even pretty good, but the Minions were stealing the show in both, so it's fitting they get their own movie, and it lives up to it. While Gru appears in it, the film really stands on its own -- highly recommended for everyone. The format is also great with discs that work in both old and new players and a download code so I can watch it on my Apple devices as well!

This Minions DVD was a Christmas gift list item from my teen aged son. He had saw the movie as a Redbox rental and knew that he would view the movie again and now he can as this has become a part of his collection.

Got this for my three year old son, he absolutely loved it! I thought it was hilarious, and getting the special edition on this one is well worth it. The minion shorts and extras are hilariously awesome.
