Minka Lavery Modern Wall Light Sconce Brushed Nickel Hardwired 4 1/4" 2-Light Fixture Etched Opal Glass Shade for Bedroom Bathroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a pair of these sconces for my family room to flank a set of sliding glass doors. They were easy for the electrician to install vertically. Initially, I found the glass shades to be too white, but I remedied that by using amber-colored bulbs to give a nice warm glow to the room. The dark bronze finish gives a sophisticated old-world feel. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great design with nice finish. Well made and good quality. Note: The mounting ring fits well on 4" octa boxes but not pn 3 1/2" octa boxes without adjustment.

Love the way the opal glass scatters the light to create a soft, and calming light effect.

They are sleek and simple, just what I was looking for; however, the white globes screw on and they only screw on by about a quarter turn, so it makes me nervous that they will work themselves loose and fall onto the counter and break. I suspect I will find myself constantly feeling them to make sure they are tight. They feel secure for now, but it's something I would improve with these sconces. The manufacturer should have made these globes turn a full turn, so that this is not an issue.

I bought 2 lights, and each one was missing 1 light bulb. The box clearly states 2 bulbs, but only one was included with each light.

Very happy with the lights purchased, look stunning. With the gorgeous glass, you can achieve 2 looks with different light bulbs, a bright pure white, or a more ambient look. They look stunning in our bathroom flanking a big framed mirror. These lights also came very well packaged, I don't even think they would have broken if box was dropped. Very happy.
