Living in older home and kitchen lighting was never bright enough. Used various lights over the years in this room and nothing really made it bright enough. This light is excellent. If you need a BRIGHT light.....this is your ticket.

These throw off lots of light but I think globe is way too big for my small kitchen. I purchased two of these to go with three matching pendants. I hope I can return these for a smaller version.
