Q: Anyone remember how to connect the hose and splash pad with the orange pieces? We threw out the instructions, can't remember, and now water leaks out of the hose.
submitted by AMath - 2 years ago
A: Hello, If you're still having trouble connecting your hose to the splash pad, please reach out to our support team at support@minnidip.com with photos so we can help troubleshoot, send you the instruction PDF and identify if you're missing the washer to prevent leaking. Thank you!

Q: Does this have a padded bottom? Would I be able to use this on concrete?
submitted by Harley - 4 years ago
A: Hi Harley! The Minnidip Palm Leaf Splash Pad Sprinkler does not have a padded bottom and we recommend always setting it up on a soft surface such as grass for safety reasons and to prevent snagging during use. Thank you!

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. The only pro is that it's visually appealing. We got one, and on the second use it popped. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. However on our replacement one it also popped on the second use. In addition to this, it's crazy slippery. Don't waste your money on this PLEASE. It's a headache.

We live the minnidip splash pad it has lasted for two seasons already. The company has great customer service, I lost the connector and contacted them and they sent a replacement for free. It can be slippery but my kids run through it and use it as a slip and slide as well.
Very slippery

Good size, but extremely slippery. My two year old was slowly walking across it, slipped and fell with her arm behind her, I’m honestly surprised it didn’t break her shoulder. I added some of the non-slip tub decals to it in hopes it would stop that kind of accident from happening again. Not as cute anymore, but I would rather not take my kids to the ER with broke bones

Size: larger than I thought, can hold my golden retriever. Maintenance: lower maintenance than kids pool. Functional: still comparing with kids pool. My golden loves pool to swim vs my friends Aussie likes the sprinkles .
Disappointing TWICE

The first one popped after 2 uses- a hole too large to repair, but I reasoned because we left it out to dry in the sun and thought if we took better care of it the second one would last so I BOUGHT A SECOND one because the design is so cute and it popped a huge unpatchable hole the third use after meticulously caring and storing it between uses. Really poorly made.
Don't buy it because its cute lol

We used this splash pad three times and noticed a large rip at the seam after using it, it was too large to repair and the splash pad became unusable.
Great splash pad until it broke

Loved this splash pad until it broke a few weeks into using it. It just split down the side with normal hose water pressure. Was hoping to have it for at least the rest of the summer
Not worth the money

Broke within 10 minutes on the first use, the holes closest to the hose connector split open and all the water just poured out of them instead of going to the rest of it.

The Slash Pad seemed promising when I first unpacked it. The design was colorful and appealing, and I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration when I discovered its poor construction. As soon as I turned on the water, the pad started leaking at the plastic connector. I made sure it was tighten.
Would not recommend! 1st one busted, they sent a replacement, 2nd one busted too!! Not a quality item.

Fun design, both my boys loved playing in it. Water is cold though cause it comes straight from the hose and doesn’t have a chance to warm up..
Fun- but only got 3 uses out of it

So pretty and nice size for a baby/toddler but busted within the first 30 minutes, even though we had the water pressure very low for a child
Waste of money.

This is such a cute splash pad, especially if you want cute summer pics. The connector is super faulty and kept popping off..it literally could not be used the way it was intended. It was a huge bummer. Save your money!

I was so disappointed with this! I love the larger size and the leaf is lovely. My toddler was SO excited to get it! But upon setting it up, it became immediately apparent that there is something wrong with the design. We could NOT get the hose to stay attached to the (detachable?) nozzle. It was kind of weird. Not rocket science to screw a hose into a slip-and-slide, but into THIS? Weirdly impossible! Try something else. What a bummer!
Loved it!!! Cute + functional

We love this splash pad! Used all summer for our twins, when they were 9-13 months old and never had any issues. Perfect for babies, and their older cousins loved to get in and play, too!
