Not a rotary phone
The buttons being in a circle does not make this a rotary phone. I think it would have been a cool to make it have the rotary dialing. That being said my daughter still likes it.

She love mini mouse and she loves to pretend on the phone! This product is light weight but surprisingly durable it’s been through some things! The avoice volume is perfect as well!

The phone makes the dial tone sound along with the sound of dialing numbers. I love that it give the option to hear Minnie voice and also the phone cord stretches out long as well.

Fun Simple Toy Phone for Young Kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old enjoys this toy. It is pretty basic, the numbers just beep, all the same tone, when pressed and the center heart button plays a rotation of a few different recordings. It is very light and the cord is wound pretty tight so there isn’t much length to pick up the phone before the base comes along as well. All sound is from the bottom of the base which is not an issue but worth noting that the phone piece doesn’t have any speaker.

My daughter loves playing like she is calling her friends and anytime she sees me on the phone she reaches for this toy as pretends she’s talking. I would recommend.
