It was Peculiar...
I love Asa, he has grown to such a great actor. When I saw the trailer for the movie, I wanted to see it, but I kind of expected more. Not for little kids younger than maybe 7 or 8, it might be a little scary. A peculiar movie that's all I can say.

Really good movie!
I read the trilogy before watching the movie. It was really well done. It doesn't follow the book exactly, but the changes don't ruin the plot. Really excited for the other 2 movies - I hope they're in the works. Target, as always, is my go to store. They had this DVD in stock and at a decent price.
