Description
With the NEW Single-to-Double Stroller 2.0, Mockingbird managed to add even more parent-friendly features onto their already award-winning stroller. Clearly informed and designed by real parents, these enhancements include an even more extendable canopy for sun protection, auto-adjusting seat straps to help parents buckle in their kids faster, a spring-loaded stroller lock for an easier unfold, and a redesigned frame that provides an even smoother and more comfortable ride.
The 2.0 version also comes with all the impressive features that have helped its original model gain such a cult following. As the Single-to-Double’s name implies, you can use this stroller both as a Single AND a Double by adding on Mockingbird’s 2nd Seat Kit as your family grows (you can even add on their Riding Board to support a third!). Also, unlike many other strollers, you can use the Single-to-Double from day one by using one of Mockingbird’s infant accessories.
This stroller really feels like “they thought of everything” – not only can it support all ages and multiple kids, but it also has an adjustable handlebar for caregivers of different heights, a seat that’s both reclinable and reversible to evolve with your child’s preferences, and a canopy that extends to different lengths to help block the sun no matter the angle. It has a giant basket to help carry everything you’ll need, an incredibly quick and easy one-hand fold, and thoughtful little details like a crumb release zipper at the base of the seat and reflective fabric for safer evening strolls.
With such impressive design, high quality materials, and a price that’s hundreds of dollars cheaper than most other premium strollers, it’s no surprise Mockingbird has rapidly become so famous in parenting circles and won countless awards like:
“Best New Stroller Brand” (What to Expect)
“Best Full-Size Stroller” (Good Housekeeping)
“Registry Must-Have” (Babylist)
“Best Strollers of the Year” (Red Tricycle)

A great stroller!
Our little one is only 2 weeks old and we have yet to try out all the attachments, but we have been loving our strolls in the bassinet! The stroller is so smooth and baby is always happy to ride. 4 stars because the wheel base is much larger than I anticipated making it tricky to maneuver in some situations, plus my husband and I can’t walk side by side on sidewalks. Otherwise it has been perfect!

Cool for 1 rider not as a tandem double
It’s functional and lightweight, which I appreciate — but using it as a tandem double stroller, our main reason for purchasing it, has been disappointing. With a 25 lb toddler in the front and an infant car seat on top, the stroller feels sturdy enough, but it’s extremely difficult to steer or control on any sort of incline or decline, like sidewalks with driveways. We also bought the additional cup holder and storage attachment, which unfortunately feels like an afterthought. The soft storage section becomes completely inaccessible once the car seat is attached, and the hard clip-on cup holder is practically useless — it only fits very small, thin items and isn’t sturdy at all. For the price, the overall value and user experience just don’t live up to expectations. This stroller might work better for someone using it exclusively in perfectly flat, smooth environments like indoor malls, but for everyday outdoor use, it falls short.

Awesome Stroller
This is such an amazing stroller!! I recommend it to everyone I see, it is so nice and good quality and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg compared to others. You won’t regret buying this one.! I am already pregnant with my second and have one under a year, I look forward to using the double system!

Great on paved paths!
This stroller glides beautifully on the paved walking path near our home. The adjustable handle is nice. The shade comes down pretty far, but the sun can still get in baby’s eyes when the seat is fully reclined. Our baby is comfortable in the newborn insert we added on and we love that we can rotate the seat to be parent facing for this age! Going over gravel is very bumpy; grass is fine. The stroller is on the heavy and large side but not unwieldy. The seatbelt clips are a little tricky and the added cup holder is a bit flimsy. Overall pleased.

Good
I love this stroller, it’s great for my 2 year old and my newborn whose now 5 months. I did have to purchase the adapter separate and the 2nd seat adapters as well to use his car seat. And now that he’s growing out of his car seat I’m thinking to buy the actual 2nd seat. The only thing I don’t like is when walking on unlevelved roads it slants to the side a lot maybe due to it being heavy already as well and the size it kinda big but it fits fine in my 3 row suv even with 3rd row up but other than that very convenient

Seat doesn't lock in place
This is a terrible stroller. The seat doesn’t lock in place, and it is so hard to open the stroller.

I love this stroller!
I take this thing everywhere! Stores, fairs, parks, neighborhood walks. You name it, we've probably done it. It is lightweight and folds/unfolds with ease. My kiddo is very comfy in it as well! I bought it planning ahead for a single-to-double stroller and I am so happy with my decision! I can't wait to buy my second seat kit! The stroller is a little bulky when folded and I'm sure it'll be bigger once it's a double but it's well worth it for the space and comfort. 10/10 is buy it again!

Double stroller review
Set this stroller up a few weeks before baby #2. We loved how smooth it moved around the house. We got connector for graco infant car seat. Fast forward— now that baby #2 is here, we ended up returning. This thing is a huge tank. It takes up whole trunk space for rav4 2021. It’s dangerous to open and close with stroller converter connected because the stroller gets stuck to converter. The stroller still runs smooth but with a 29 lb toddler and 5 week infant in infant car seat… this thing is HEAVY!!!!!!!! It’s also hard to maneuver. It feels like the front seat is so far away and I have no idea what baby#1 is doing up there. It’s very long

Too heavy
I converted from a Nuna stroller to this Mockingbird and was let down. It’s way heavier than my Nuna stroller and much harder to assemble the second seat if you remove the attachments. I thought it would be slimmer as well because of claims that you can fold it flat with one hand but that was not the case. Because it’s so heavy, it’s difficult to open with one hand without dropping it most of the time, and if you have the second seat on it takes so much more space. Honestly I was let down in all aspects.

Not Practical
So insanely overrated. It is not actually one handed(in a practical sense). It requires assembly for every use, which is basically impossible to do when your baby is with you. You have to set them down to set up the stroller. Videos show it standing when collapsed, but that's simply not the case at all. It's extremely heavy and awkward to load in to your vehicle. You can't recline top baby unless handle is set to shortest setting and at 5' thats too short for even me. Using two seats at once means top baby can't recline without kicking bottom kid(facing out) or your hands(facing you). Can't use foot brake in sandals. Terrible maneuverability, turning is impossible. Wheels get stuck on everything, once even a simple extension cord across the path. I will say the canopy is definitely UV protective and cargo space decent. Unfortunately, not enough to balance out the literal production it is simply to use it every day. Maybe it's worth it for people with a garage and can leave it open/ set up, or use it infrequently but for those that use it every day is just a financial burden I couldn't afford.

A Gift
I bought the Mockingbird Single to Double Stroller for my son and daughter-in-law, and I know they love it. It was easy to assemble and easy to switch the seats. I have used the stroller with both children in it, and it was simple to use and push two babies. It was the stroller they wanted, and they are happy.
