Target……purchased this item online first. Weeks later it still doesn’t arrive. I cancelled the order and found it in a local store. The item was very difficult to assemble and is missing multiple screws. I called the guest service number as suggested online and am told I must go to the store to get the missing screws. The store no longer carries black so they said they can not take them from the box for the white one. So now I have a dresser with one drawer unassembled and o also a scratch on the top. This is my second experience trying to purchase furniture items from Target that have been damaged or missing pieces. No resolution no dresser

I guess I am ‘Barbara the Builder’ because it was easy to assemble (even adjusting the drawers so they’re not crooked). But it does take long time because everything comes separated. Read through the instructions…simple I bought two on sale to make a dresser which ended being cheaper than the $280 dresser at IKEA. A lot of these reviews are simply human error because the instructions (even for fixing the drawers) are very very VERY detailed. It even has mini captions near the photo ‘the groove faces forward’. So either I am genius or people who bought these are not great as assembling furniture. People are setting very high expectations for an item that would be considered a more budget friendly furniture item. Low price = full assembly required High price = already full assembled Slight dust due to packaging/shipping, etc.

after 4 hours, our dresser is finally put together. putting the drawers in is what took the longest. As we were putting them in, the top drawer wouldn't close it kept hitting the top. We had to adjust screws inside the drawer for all of them or else drawer wouldn't go in. definitely lots of redo. overall it seems sturdy for my socks, under garments and pjs. wouldn't recommend storing anything heavy as the bottom of the drawers are very thin. added a photo of the screws inside the drawer we had to keep adjusting.

It’s okay. I only bought it because it was on sale. The directions are not good and even if you follow them step by step you are still left having to infer for some steps. The drawers don’t slide in super easily. It’s okay but I wouldn’t buy it again

Overall ok, drawer issues.
The top drawer do not line up how its supposed to, we spent over a hour trying to get the top drawer to not scrub the top with no luck. We followed the instructions to resolve the issue and I did not work. I’m not sure if the premade holes are off a little or what, I eventually gave up. Other than that the dresser is fine. Does smell like hay for the first day or two. On the plus side the Drawers are very spacious and deep.

This is the worst thing to put together. 5 hours later and still not together and the hardware is made very cheap. We ended up nailing it together. Drawers do not close right. I just trashed it. 130.00 never used sitting at the curb.

By myself, it took 2 hours to assemble. It’s not the best quality, feels like it will fall apart if needed to be moved around. It’s okay for the price although I wish I spent more time looking around. You can’t put heavy items in the drawers, so limit the amount of clothing you place in it.

This is the worst piece of furniture I have ever bought! Not worth the price!! It was ridiculous to put together and the draws squeak after only a month of having it!!

Decent...
Years ago, this was only $50 to $70, and even that was too expensive for the actual quality of the dresser. And the only reason I bought it at that price was because I used gift cards from Christmas. If you're going to drop $125 on a dresser anyway, you're better off paying a little more at IKEA and getting their version of this dresser. IKEA's version wasn't spectacular, but the quality was far more superior, and you could actually justify their price.

A Great Upgrade
I have the version of this dresser from 2017, and the new updated version I just purchased a few months ago as that original one is finally showing wear and a bit unstable after 6 moves. This version is quite the upgrade. Thicker wood panels, and an actual back! Some of the pieces are heavy, so it would be best to have 2 people to assemble. It took me 2.5 hours alone, but I’m no newbie to flat pack furniture. To save the cost of delivery from IKEA, and for a much improved product from years ago, I’d say go for it. It’s not high quality, but for a first apartment or a kids’ room, I think it’s decent. I will say I did not use the safety mechanism because from experience, I don’t appreciate them and do not have children so do not need. That may be the difference for me.

awful assembly instructions, it took about 4 hours to finish putting it together. would not recommend. i’d give it 0 stars for assembly if i could. go to ikea instead if you can!
