Wrong country names
The globe mislabels the "Democratic Republic of the Congo" as "Zaire" which hasn't been the country's name since 1997. It correctly includes South Sudan (2011 independence) so this is clearly a mistake.

Globe was very difficult to read as the lettering was goldish. Also, not that well made as paper that is applied to the body to create the globe doesn’t line up correctly and some corners of the paper stuck up like you could just peel it off. Returned.

Beautiful but poor quality
Beautiful design but poor quality. Arrived with scuff marks and the globe itself seems to be wrapped in a cheap matte paper that scuffs easily and was glued on haphazardly. I would have preferred a glossy wipeable finish. Perhaps it was just mine because I ordered online and it was shipped to me. If you must buy this aesthetically designed globe, go in person to the store to evaluate it for yourself.
