When I picked this up off my porch in the shipping box it felt like an empty box -- the can is THAT light. Unfortunately that means that it isn't heavy enough to hold itself upright when it's pedal is pushed too open the top. More than half the time the whole waste basket tipped forward. It needs to bee weighted. I considered trying to add weight to it but there's no room in the bottom (under the removable bucket) and the bucket is already so small it seemed silly to add anything there. It might work better on a countertop, but evn then the tipping would be annoying.
