I purchased this a few months ago, and didn't have any complaints until tonight. I usually leave my bar of soap on this, because I assumed this could handle that. But when I lifted the soap to wash my hands, I saw that a piece of the tray had flaked off and attached itself to the bar of soap. only use this for aesthetics, or if you have liquid soap in the matching pump.

This tray was used by my kitchen sink to store hand and dish soap. Within just a few weeks the matte finish started peeling and showed stains from the hand soap. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money.
