Sparked a passion for gardening

Nothing grew, waste of money. Was really excited, but nothing grew. I followed the directions to a t. I also bought a baby watermelon kit from here, and nothing grew from that either. Very disappointing.

Love it, was missing the carbon though, I read through the instructions too quickly when I first planted them and I also put the seeds in the cocoa instead of under the rocks like I think I was supposed to. They still sprouted I hope the carbon wasn't super essential

Easy to Grow
I’m usually not good with plants so I’m thrilled to see it grow as big as it has. However, I am worried that the plant is outgrowing the pot as the trunk is almost as wide as the circumference of the pot. I tried looking at previous reviews but couldn’t see any guidance on what to do once the plant has fully grown. Is repotting necessary and is there another kit for when this kit fully grows?

My product arrived within in a week. It's a very easy and convenient system. It took a couple weeks for the seeds to sprout and now they're growing well. I would definitely purchase another.

Fun to watch grow
My son bought me the desert rose bonsai kit for Christmas 2022. I got one spout and it’s been growing beautifully until recently the leaves are falling off and don’t what happened. I’m so upset and concerned. I don’t want it to dye on me. Please Any information and advice will be greatly appreciated.

No Sprouts!
My palm seeds have been germinating for around 4 weeks. No sprouts on any of them. I’ve reread the directions over and have been following them. I was going to buy a replacement kit but realized there wasn’t an option for the coastal palm.

Ok product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This teracotta grow kit is just ok. I got the desert rose one. They started off growing great, but have slowed down a lot. I think they have been about an inch or so tall for a month or more. Maybe it would do better for someone with a green thumb.

Desert rose bonsai
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My desert rose bonsai is growing beautifully ! The seeds only took a couple of days to sprout and they have been growing perfectly since. It is very important that you follow the directions as is to make sure that your plant grows . It comes with the terracotta planter , seeds , starter Coco (soil) , and plant food.

EASY TO SETUP

I have the hardest time growing plants because I tend to forget to water them or sometimes I overwater my plants. This planter makes it so much easier for people like me. Once you put water in it the planter holds water which will consistently send water and nutrients to my plants roots. Setting this up was fairly easy. Everything you need comes in the box. The instructions are easy to follow and everything is labeled which makes setting this up very easy and also kid friendly. I am very excited to see the outcome of this.

Follow the directions to get it set up, place by a sunny window, and patiently await your seeds to sprout. As we are in late spring, it’s the perfect time to get these growing. It couldn’t be easier. Seed help!
I received the Palm kit as a gift and followed the steps but my seeds are not sprouting at all. It’s been 3 weeks in the process and I’m worried there’s something wrong with the seeds.

Palm seeds can be quite shy. Be sure to wait until the seedlings "break" or show signs of green before transplanting. I like to wait even longer than the instructions suggest to make sure they have a strong root coming from their seed and even a shoot coming from the other side of the seed. Their starting conditions have to be just right and can take several weeks of warm, damp conditions to get growing. If you have your seeds wrapped in wet paper towel in a plastic bag, try placing that in a sunny spot for a couple of weeks to see if you can get them growing. Sometimes the extra warmth & humidity is all they need. If that doesn't work, we're always happy to provide you with new seeds to try again as part of our Thrive Promise.

Obsessed with my Bonsai Sprouts!
I can't believe how quickly my Bonsai sprouted! I have this under a Modern Sprout growbar since it's chilly in Chicago this time of year. All three seeds sprouted quickly, and it's been so satisfying to watch it grow.

Bought 2, one sprouted & one did not
What to do now that my plant never sprouted? do I have to buy more? I bought a prickly pear kit and and aloe kit and the prickly pear has sprouted but the aloe never showed any signs of life. I also had a hard time at first with its set up because when I opened the seed packet, the seeds were all black so they looked the same as the activated carbon. Seeds fell onto the soil and I couldn’t differentiate between the seeds and activated carbon. Bummer. Excited for the prickly pear and hope it is a success. hoping to get my other one replaced but we will see :/

Aloe are especially slow growers, and I would first recommend testing a plastic bag over the top of your planter, setting the kit in full sun in a warm spot, and waiting for condensation to form over a few days.
