What you described is not consistent with the quality we strive to provide The Moen Adler Chrome Standard Tub/Shower is covered under the Moen lifetime limited warranty for the original product purchaser. As the original product purchaser, there would be no charge for warranty replacement parts, our product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation, and warranty assistance.

Hello Annye we apologize for the difficulty you experienced with installing your Moen Adler Chrome Standard tub/shower, we do not recommend gluing the parts together. The valve should be installed a maximum of 2 7/8” from the finished wall surface. When the screw is tightened, the handle adapter kits should not move.
