Works well, even detects toilets that keep running, gives peace of mind that one can shut off one's main water supply in case of a leakage, and it will even do it for you when it detects unusual water use. One day I was filling up my pool, and it had shut off my main water, which I appreciated. Now I know how to override it in those instances, but YES it WORKS! I did add some moisture sensors also, because it won't detect things like a leak in the line of the built-in ice maker, so there are a few limitations but overall WORTH it 1000%

Had this installed a couple months ago and it's working great. My son took a shower that exceeded what the unit thought should be adequate and cut off on him. Then I was able to easily turn back on with the App.

Not thrilled so far . I’m out traveling internationally and it’s shutting off our water cause there’s an internet outage etc etc Shut off 3-4 times in a little over a month -Yeh I know there’s sensitivity adjustments but haven had time quite yet

I have found the Moen Flo to be the most well developed piece of Home Automation Technology on the market. The remote sensors are absolutely stable and the Main Flo Detector/Water Shutoff is flawless at detecting the slightest water flow rate anomaly without the nuisance water shutoff events found in other products..

This Moen device was required by our insurance company, Farmers Insurance. But, it is intrusive like Big Brother. Its a violation of our privacy. It shut off the water in our whole house in the middle of the night because our teenage daughter took a long shower at 3 a.m. and it thought there was a leak! This upset our the entire home with my kids assuming our water bill wasn't paid. Then to learn that something is basically spying on us is making everyone unsettled about usung the water this morning! We needed support through the app to turn OUR water back on! I'm looking for a lawyer to sue- class action anyone?

Constantly misidentifies irrigation as leaks

I was forced to buy this thing by my insurance company. It cannot seem to learn my water usage routines and is constantly trying to shut off the water when I have no leaks. I have 3/4 of an acre mostly on drip irrigation that has to run for a couple hours to complete its schedule. Flo always interprets the long run times as leaks, even though I have always responded to the notifications to list them as irrigation.

We have been living with the flow Smart water monitor and shut off for about 4 months now and it is completely unreliable and has been shutting off many times. I have contacted support about five times and made all the adjustments that they suggested and at this point it is a complete waste of money and my time. My family does not want it to be active in our home anymore.

We were out of town for 3 weeks and within the first few days received a notification on the app that we had unusual water usage and the Flo Smart monitor automatically shutoff water to the house. Thinking it was a fluke we turned the water back on via the app and within an hour received the same notification. After a friend went to the house to check for us we found that a house sitter had left the shower partially on and was dripping excessively. The system worked perfectly for us and did what it was supposed to do!
So close almost a five star
