I wish I had read reviews before buying this. Looks pretty that’s why I gave it two stars but it spits water out of the faucet instead of flowing and the shower head sprays while trying to run bath water. So disappointing!! Do not recommend!!

Hello Just me and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your new Moen 82310SRN Mikah Posi-Temp Tub/Shower. The issues you describe could be related and are likely related to the installation. If when running water out of the tub spout you also have water coming out of the showerhead is a condition referred to as “stacking”. This condition can best be described as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough that the water begins to back-up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back-up is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead. The following is a link for additional information: https://solutions.moen.com/Article_Library/What_is_a_Stacking_Leak%3F We are sending you an email to gather more information and to work with you to find a satisfactory warranty resolution. We want you to be happy with your new Moen 82310SRN Mikah Posi-Temp Tub/Shower. Moen product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation, and warranty assistance. They can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

The quality is not there. The water is spilling/splashing from the tube event if the installation is done correctly. I was hoping for better quality for the price. Seems cheap not at the level quality of what I saw previously with Moen.

Unit is too close to the shower wall to lock the sprayer securly. Needs to be another three inches further out. A longer option should be included in the kit considering the cost of the unit.

We recently remodeled an outdated bathroom in our home. I was so excited to purchase Moen unit 82310BL but was quickly disappointed. We have spent hours trying to make this works and the water flow on the bathtub spout sprays and spits water all over. The shower head leaks non stop when using and sometimes without even using it. For the cost of this product I was expecting a lot more. Now we have to spend more money buying a new shower head and spout to avoid all the leaking, on top of the cost we have been paying our plumber. Do not buy this product. Very disappointing.

Our bathroom remodel took an extra week and possible extra damage because our shower/ tub set were missing critical pieces. Our first tub spout was missing the whole diverted part. So was leaking from the shower head when tub was running. After that fixed the shower head was missing a washer so leaked/ sprayed. Then noticed tub spout was not very stable and wiggled. Noticed we were missing the slip fit connection for no slip secure fit. Very upsetting when we have one shower in the house and we have pushed back our remodel for a week for a simple shower head installation.

For the love of Pete, put the screws in the box! Missing the set screw that holds the lever on and the screw that holds the entire assembly to the valve. Completely disappointed that I have to return the item and get a new one that has the parts inside so I ca move forward with my project. I have no opinion on performance, because I am still working on install.

I bought this product for our new bathroom remodel. We have always used Moen products and never had an issue but with this one it's a headache. We can't see to get the shower head to stop leaking. We have followed all the directions and checked more then twice on steps and repeatedly tried again and it continues to leak out water.

Hello Bclark285 and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you are experiencing with your new Moen Mikah Posi-Temp tub/shower, model number 82310BL. Based on your description, you will either need a replacement cartridge, a replacement rainshower/handshower combo unit or you are experiencing a condition we refer to as “stacking”. This condition can best be described as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough that the water begins to back-up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back-up, is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead. We are sending you an email to get more information, to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing and to find a satisfactory warranty resolution.

Only complaint so far is 1" gap between base of handle and face of escutcheon. I secured valve in wall cavity so that printed face of plaster ground was flush with face of wall tile as illustrated for thick wall installation.

I installed this showerhead and tub faucet last week and was very disappointed. After taking all day to install (manual was very confusing). I turned on the water and water was coming out of the shower head as well as the tub. Could not get it to just come out for the tub only. I would not recommend this product. I have several Moen products this one is not worth the money.

Hello Cindy1972 and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. Your review indicates after recently installing your new Moen Mikah™ Spot Resist Brushed Nickel Posi-Temp® Tub/Shower, when you run water out of the tub spout you also have water coming out of the showerhead. If this is the case, it sounds like you are experiencing a condition we refer to as “stacking”. This condition can best be described, as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough that the water begins to back up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back up to is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead. The following link provides the common reasons that “stacking” occurs: https://solutions.moen.com/Article_Library/What_is_a_Stacking_Leak%3F The following is a list of the common reasons that “stacking” occurs: -The pipe running from the bottom of the valve body to the tub spout must be ½” copper or IPS pipe. No other type of piping should be used for this connection. -The pipe running from the bottom of the valve body to the tub spout should only have one elbow in it. -The valve body itself was installed upside down. -Try removing the tub spout from the pipe it is mounted on. After removing the spout, turn on the water to see if “stacking” still occurs. Please note that the water will shoot straight out of the pipe, you will need to take precautions to prevent it from splattering all over the place when it hits the back of the shower wall. -There must be a minimum of 46” between the handle and where the pipe for the showerhead comes through the wall.
