It gets the job done, but I only get one channel from each plug. I may have misunderstood the principle applied, but I thought I would get stereo X2 by using this adapter. Other than that, it is a fine piece of modern engineering value!

I misunderstood the function of this adapter... I was looking for an adapter to take two balanced inputs and split them to tip and ring. But this does what it was designed to do... not what I wanted it to do. My mistake. But the word "splitter" seems a bit misleading to me. It's more of a "merge" in my opinion.

I bought this as a low-tech way to split my guitar to the amp and Rocksmith at the same time and it does the trick. I might have gone 4-stars because it definitely introduces noise but you know what? It's analog and inexpensive so it deserves 5 stars!

These adaptors will come apart and leave the broken tip up inside a piece of gear that will be impossible to remove and cost hundreds to repair. Do yourself a favor and buy something of quality that won't crumble apart.
