Impressed with the quality and build of these connectors. Just make sure to tighten the tips as none were fully seated. No instructions were included which is a shame for the newbies. The very low price was worth the cost of waiting a few days for delivery.

There is not a lot of room for the bare wires before they overlay the grooves and if they get in the grooves then it is difficult to screw the tops on.

Two AV units, needed the wiring to be better organized. These did the job; some difficulties getting the wire to "fray", the open screw ones would be easier. But great price. Since only have to put them together once, definitely four stars, maybe four and a half.

The plugs are good in a sense that they all fit together but when you plug them into the receiver, a few of them were extremely loose and I had to swap out the tips in order to make them work. Thank goodness I had a few other plugs around from a previous receiver otherwise I would have had loose connections.

These work well, but I noticed that the ones I bought 5 years ago had a darker gold color. This one is very light. It make me believe that this has a thinner coat of gold and hope it lasts. I specifically looked for the gold to resist corrosion.

These things were a real pain to use. It took a lot of time and painful fingers to use. No matter how I tried I could not get it to close over my 14 gauge wire. I ended up folding half the strands to go between the sheathing and the plug, and half to go between the body and the plug.
