Absolutely garbage, I just installed this yesterday and the nuts are very bad. The thread is so bad it doesn?t hold the wire tightly. Will have to replace.

This product had shorts in the subwoofer rca connectors. The connector worked for a couple days but i came home one day and heard the subwoofer blasting in the house due to the bad rca connector. While investigating I found that only one rca was bad. The second was fine. After doing some frequency tests. I also found that the speaker connections on the same gang was also bad. At 83 Hz there was an awfully sound heard from the speaker. I am ordering sepa

I hired a handyman who used to do wiring for the phone company and also does carpentry to replace a wall in my A/V cabinet and install this wall plate for my A/V receiver. Today, while installing the A/V equipment, I learned the #1 subwoofer socket is not as wide as it should be. The cable just falls off! The #2 socket works fine. Obviously, the #1 socket is defective and should have failed quality control. Monoprice is sending a replacement plate, which I will now have to replace (i.e., remove the A/V receiver from the cabinet, disconnect all the wires to the plate, remove the plate from the wall, disconnect it, reconnect the replacement, reinstall it in the wall, reconnect all the wires to the A/V receiver, and reinstall in the the cabinet). Since I already paid for an expert to do all this work, I'm not a happy camper.

Very Sturdy and well made. I would like to see some 9.2 and 11.2 wall plate set-ups in the future. Also if you could re-assign the speaker labels with stickers instead of having to use a label maker that would make this perfect.
