Description
Crank it up to 11 using this 40-watt 1x10 inch Guitar Combo Amp with Spring Reverb from Monoprice!
This guitar amp employs a 40-watt amplifier driving a 10-inch, 4ohm speaker. It features a genuine spring-reverb, which allows you to capture the classic surf sound made famous by such artists as Dick Dale, the Beach Boys, the Ventures, and Man or Astro-man? The spring reverb is also useful for production of electronic music, lounge, or anything where you want to produce dark, dripping overtones to your sound.
This amp features three adjustable EQ controls at 100Hz, 1kHz, and 3kHz. The reverb is adjustable along with the gain level for the overdrive circuit. It has two line level inputs, one of which has a -6dB pad for use with instruments with active electronics. A line level output allows you to send the output to a recorder or mixing board and FX Send and Return jacks allow you to use external effects processors. The amp features headphone and external speaker outputs, both of which automatically mute the internal speaker when in use.
Unlike most amps, which top out at 10, this amp has been engineered with volume controls that go to 11! This allows you to crank along at 10 for most of a show then, when you want that extra push over the cliff, you can crank it up to 11 and really send the audience into a frenzy!

Fine until it wasn't. Loud amp with decent sound but just shortly after 1 year one input quit working then a few weeks later the fuse clamp broke and now the amp has no sound even though it powers on. It only lasted long enough to fulfill the year warranty.
Great unit for the price and beyond!

I have two of these amplifiers, one at home and one that I use at church. I have hooked in both an acoustic-electric guitar and a semi-hollow body guitar. It gives clear, concise sound and the effects are pretty good too. I bought one, then decided to buy a second to replace my practice amp at home. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing deal - buy it! Plenty of power, easy to use. Clean cleans and useable overdrive channel. I recommend one to a friend and liked it so much I bought one for myself. Pair it with the monoprice 15w tube amp!
What a find!

Just got mine in the mail today-very happy with it ... great sound with rhe 10" speaker, round and creamy, nice reverb. My Indio Tele and Peavey JF-1 match up really well to it. Looking forward to gigging it tonight (and it goes to 11!)
I can finally turn it up to 11!

Not that I have, but I could. The volume knobs really do go to eleven! I never thought that was possible. ;-). Nice little Spinal Tap reference. In all seriousness, this is a great guitar amp. I've even used it for my bass guitar at low non-overdrive levels and it booms. Works in a pinch until I get a dedicated bass amp. For guitars, it screams. Got it on sale for $99 and I don't regret it.
Broken

Unfortunately they sent me a broken one, the cabinet was broken and it appeared to be packed that way. Was going to live with it, repair it, but something else wrong too, notes sounded like a short on sustain/decay. Looked at circuit board, not cleanly done, long legs left on capacitor and some sloppy glue and things. Would have all been fine if it worked. I took the speaker out to use on something else, worked but terminal loose on their rivets. It is dishonorable to send something like this even though people like me will allow the injury because the remedy will only cause me more injury.

I love the sound and fact that it has 2 inputs. The cost was not very high.

Great Amp, for the price, should be double, or more.
No Aux input.

Would like to see this amplifier have an ?aux? input so you could play backing tracks. The external speaker connection is not really needed for a small practice amp.
Great, for the price

Not dissatisfied at all with this little amp! I did swap the speaker out with a Warehouse 4 0hm. 75 W speaker that I had. I have also driven (2) 12" 8 Ohm speakers with it also. The over drive isn't bad either! Well worth the price!!

I bought it a few years ago, still sounds fine. It's not one of those modeling amps, but that's fine by me. I run the amp clean and use pedals to get the sound I want. I totally dig the fact that it goes to 11 and show it everyone who visits my studio. Most people don't get it, I don't care. I bought a mono price looper and the bigger tube amp. I like them both.

I'm new as a "musician" so I really can't give an experienced opinion. Seems like it has plenty of power and features but what is missing for us newbies is a pamphlet explaining the how to get the best from the. features

Looks and sounds great, I've only been playing the guitar a year now and just getting around to making my pedal board to go with this and my other amp. Not bad as far as I can tell.

Well built and sounds great. Subtle real spring reverb is perfect for me. Lots of clean headroom and good response on eq. This is one of the best solid state amps I?ve owned. Perfect pedal platform which is what I wanted!
