This guitar was better than expected. It weighs about 7.5 pounds, light weight, Monoprice should reveal the weight as so many people now look for light weight guitars. The finish was perfect, the tuners are good, it plays good, it sounds good. Very glad I bought this guitar. I would look at buying another Indio guitar. Very pleased!

I got this for only $58!!! My expectations were low, but man it looks great and plays really well right out of the box. It's better than the Donner LP I got and returned. The finish is brighter and more vibrant than the Donner and it plays better for $100 less. The gig bag is also really really good with lots of padding. I got the Indio Telecaster style on the same day for only $66 and it's ok, but needs work. This guitar really doesn't need a thing, maybe a string change at most. I played it for a couple of hours the other day and it just plays so so well for being so inexpensive.

The one that I received was in very good to almost excellent condition. It had just a bit of fret sprout on arrival, but after it adjusted to the currently humid conditions, it's fine. This guitar is a player. It feels good in the hands (I have long fingers but if you have medium sized hands it should be fine). The neck is easy to move up and down on. The action was just right for me. I haven't taken it apart yet, but for what I paid for it, I am quite pleased. This is my sixth Indio I've bought. This one is a keeper.
Disappointed hope you have better luck

definitely not a real LP guitar, but plays very nicely and looks wonderful. This was the first one that the fret ends were a bit sharp, but at this price, you don't have to be afraid to learn how to work on them... and everyone should if your going to be playing them!

I was a bit hesitant at buying a Guitar at this low price point but I had a savings code and purchased this guitar for under $75.00, and to be honest, I was not expecting much at all.Once the guitar arrived I could not believe how nice it actually was, the guitar had no high frets , no string buzz ,the neck was straight and the finish was really nice. The guitar plays nicely and the action was really great. The guitar also came with a very nice padded soft case that is of good Quality ( the case alone was worth the price) . If you're looking for an inexpensive quality guitar, this is the one to get!

Received this today and just set it up. Minimal setup required. Frets are a tad sharp at the edges, but not terrible. No blems on the finish. Bought it for my 9 year old son, as he's always stealing my Les Paul lol. This is my 3rd Indio and they're great bang for the buck.

This is a beautiful guitar and astonishing value for the price. I plan to oil the frets file down the edges a bit and add new strings. But overall I'm thrilled with it.

A nice intro guitar, but experienced musicians will jam on it too considering the great pricing. Named after a historic highway it fits the bill and provides that type of vibe. Good quality and tone. The padded gig bag was of excellent quality sweetens the deal. Action, neck, and frets were playable out of the box, but experienced players can tweak it to their liking.

This is a basic Les Paul style guitar. It has the humbucker pickups. They are NOT micro-phonic which is a good thing. It came basically set up. I just needed a tiny tweak in lowering the strings just a centimeter. The neck was straight. I polished the frets (I always do when I buy a guitar). The strings are fine. It sounds nice through my Fender amp. Well done.

Only two stars being as bridge pickup did not work. Tested in guitar and did not show signs of output. So modified the guitar to a junior style guitar with one humbucker bridge pickup that I purchased with new wire harness. Setup and played great. If I can make a recommendation to Monoprice. It would be to offer this guitar body as a junior style guitar with choice of Humbucker or P90 pickups. You will have a winner!!!
Good Deal On This Guitar.

This guitar competes with the Epiphone Special guitar. The design of this guitar, I'd call 2/3 Fender and 1/3 Gibson. It has the neck held on by woodscrews, to the body (no they are not bolts, they are wood screws), which is a Fender style attachment. It has a maple neck (another Fender style feature.) The body is basically a flat plank of wood (like Telecaster, but cut to the shape of a Les Paul style guitar) But it has humbuckers, and an angled headstock (both Gibson features.) It's a very nice little guitar. The stock pickups sound good. It's a relatively light weight guitar. It's really quite a nice guitar. And the price is good.

Pretty incredible to get a beautiful instrument with a good setup, ready to play, for this price range. Also, the bag is much higher quality than I expected it to be. Thanks Monoprice!

Picked up the blue one for a great price on Target's website when the Indio group I'm in made it known. Arrived in 5 days from California to Michigan in perfect shape. Filed the fret ends, lowered the action using the tune-o-matic style bridge, and I'm in L.P. copy heaven. This is my 4th Indio having the Tele, the Strat and the J-Bass. VERY happy with them all. Indio is my new go to for inexpensive yet good!

Better than average instrument for the price. Came with a dead spot at second fret on first and second strings but I was able to adjust the action to solve the issue. It sounds and looks beautiful.
