Monoprice Blackbird 8K Dual Function Splitter/Switch (1x2 Splitter or 2x1 Switch), 8K@60, 4K@120, 40Gbps, HDR, HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.3, EDID

I made two big mistakes that I've been searching feverishly for months for a way to resolve: 1. I ran an 35' HDMI 2.1 8K60/4K120 cable through the walls and ceiling of a shed that ended up being 1 foot two short to its destination.. I only learned this after drywall was finished and there was no way to retrieve the cable or adjust the lengths of the cable on either side. 2. The HDMI cable in question was a fiber-optic cable, making it astronomically difficult to find accessories that work with it. Essentially, I needed a device that would receive the signal from the fiber optic HDMi cable, repeat it, and then send it on is way. I also needed it to be lagless and transmit the HDMI 2.1, 8K60/4K120, HDR signal. I have purchased probably 8 different devices searching for a solution. Nothing worked. THIS DEVICE WORKED! It successfully receives the full transmitted HDMI 2.1 signal originating 35 ft. away and reproduces it with perfect clarity and zero lag. NOTE: I did have to play with the EDIDs to get it to work. Default config is "111." I had to change it to "000" and then back to "111," which sets the output to the default determined by "HDMI Out 1," and it worked.
