This did not fit my Epson Home Cinema 3800 and the plastic valence did not snap in place as advertised. Since this probably fits most models maybe list which ones it doesn't. Possibly even give the reach on the spider arms because it is not universal.

Bought this after I bought Monoprice PID 3874, which lacks the adjustability required to hang a projector from the ceiling. Followed the instructions to try to mark center of gravity - this is big, as this will make it substantially easier to align and aim your projector. My Epson only has 3 mounting holes and their spacing made it impossible to line it up directly at center of gravity, but I got close. The method for attaching the "spider" portion to the ceiling mount is precarious at best! It uses a single threaded thumb screw to hold it into a slot. (Again - if your CoG is messed up, it could actually work itself free over time). My biggest complaint here is that even with a small, light projector, I really don't have a lot of confidence in that interface. Additionally, no matter how much you tighten that knob, the whole thing is too flimsy and there is some play at that interface, making it very difficult to get it aligned perfectly. Long story short, you get what you pay for - its literally 10% the cost of a name-brand mount, but its also far lighter and flimsier.
