Summary of reviews
This tuner pedal is a favorite among guests for its ease of use, large display, and solid construction. Many appreciate its ability to mute the guitar signal while tuning, making it ideal for live performances. The pedal is praised for its quick response time and accuracy, often outperforming more expensive models. Despite some minor concerns about visibility in direct sunlight and occasional functionality issues, it remains a reliable choice for musicians looking for a budget-friendly tuner.

I did not notice any significant change in signal when used, but I also did not have a chance to use it within a complicated signal chain, but only when feeding into a modeling amp so YMMV

I use this pedal everytime I go out and gig. It's the first thing in line with my guitar (follwed by an EQ pedal, and a looper.) This little pedal makes tuning easy. You don't have to get out a tuner. Just step on the pedal, the amp goes quiet (when you step on the switch), you tune up, then press the pedal again to go back to the amp with the guitar's signal. I also use it when I go on break. I don't want my guitar sitting there prone to feedback, so I just press the tuner pedal and it disconnects the guitar's signal from the amp. I like this pedal so well, I bought two of them. The one thing that I will say, like any display, if you get it in direct sunlight, it can be a bit difficult to see, but that's true of any display (the red ones) on any product. So, it's not unique to this pedal. This is a great pedal.
Great for the price

Course resolution compared to other tuners I've used, so "creeping up" to tuned condition not like what I'm used to - but when hit, it agrees with the other hardware and app tuners I tried. Oddly, there seems to be a bit of a delay when using it with my Monoprice Acoustic-Electric (Product ID: 610830). Perhaps it takes it a while to find the fundamental note within the harmonics an acoustic generates? Does work though. As others have noted, it has a big, bright display & being able to tune without the signal going to the amp, when kicked in, is my preference. Haven't used the bypass output, as I want it muted while tuning, but it's nice to have the option. All in all, for $26.99 & free shipping - really hard to beat.

Bought this and the head tuner..Turns out both are great to have. I use this by my amp and is always pluged in. just hit the button, and everything goes silent and quickly tune between any question of needing tuning.

This little box is quick to give a reading and is easy to read. There is half a moment of startup lag when I power it on, where I wonder if there?s a problem. But it always works well. Mine came with a bit of gunk stuck to the screen. I?m carefully working on removing it without scratching the screen permanently. Also, the box does change my sound a bit when it?s in my signal chain. I think this is common for tuner pedals. Tuning works just as well via a FX loop.

This cheap tuner works better than my Fender tuner. And no, I am not exaggerating. The Fender tuner changes the sound of my guitar to lose crispiness. This one keeps the original signal intact!

Fit nicely on to the pedal board, right at the right of our lineup. Large display and well-functioning mechanics make it a key component of any board. I would recommend this over pedals costing 2-4x as much.

I bought this pedal to replace an old Boss TU-2 that finally gave up. Had seen a few favorable reviews and the price was more than reasonable. Easy to read. Fast calibrating between strings and to pitch. Really well built. Just a simple, stable, quiet, tuner pedal. Does what this pedal should do for considerably less than the competition and way better than the mini tuner pedals. Just buy one,

Big display, seems pretty accurate, looks good and behaves good. Doesn't drain power with a battery in it needlessly.

I have been a touring musician since 1992. I have used every tuner pedal under the sun! Seriously. I bought one of these on a whim because they were havering around $20. It?s as good and as durable as the $65 - $125 pedal tuners I own. I love this pedal so much that I bought a few. I figured since they were so cheap, I can keep one in every working instrument case. I also bought a bunch as gifts. Every single one I bought still works perfectly - some are a few years old and have been abused on the road and there are zero problems. Highly recommended!
Best economical tuner on the market!

I have a confession to make. I made an adverse review on this tuner years ago that was due to user error. This is the third one of these pedals that I have purchased. I gave one to a beginner guitarist as a MUST HAVE. I keep one where I leave my equipment for rehearsal, and the one I'm purchasing now will stay in the storage compartment of my guitar case to take wherever I go. This is the best value tuner I have found. I use it on the bench as well when dialing in the intonation.
