Description
Don't let your guitar go unprotected. Keep it upright and safe from scratches and dings with this Classic Guitar Stand from Monoprice. This simple three-piece design can be assembled in minutes, yet provides a stable base for holding any guitar or bass guitar. The aluminum tubing is covered in a soft rubber foam to protect the finish of your guitar, while a rubber strap across the neck support ensures that your guitar won't fall out of the stand. The stand is height adjustable from about 25" ~ 29" at the neck support. The base has a 20.5" span, which gives it rock solid stability, even on carpet. Note that the rubber tubing will interact with the chemicals in a nitrocellulose finish and can ruin the finish where it comes in contact with the rubber. Never allow a guitar with a nitrocellulose finish to come into contact with rubber tubing.

Better than expected
It's fine. It's made of light steel tubing painted black. I wouldn't call it heavy duty but if you're just using it at home it does the job. I use it for my Squier Jazz bass, which has an asymmetrical body which the body support prongs accommodate by rotating. Not compact or pretty, but worth the price if your on a budget.

It?s not bad
Works like the other stands I?ve had in this style. The only hiccup I had was that the plastic inside both of my stands was broken, and blocked the top half from sliding into the base. I jammed it in there and it worked. Pinched my skin real bad in the process. Be careful!

Scratched my guitar! Metal is not fully covered!
Cradle for the neck is a hollow piece of tube with the U (cradle) welded to the top of it. The open metal of the tube is left unprotected and can take take a gouge out of the base of your neck!

Great Product!
PERFECT!!! I owned a similar one for many years, but this one seems more sturdy and have a professional look and feel to it. If you're looking for a guitar or bass stand, this is the one for you, cause it won't get knocked over too easily as compared to the "A-shaped one" and only cost a couple dollar more.
