Constructionwise, it is a very nice cable. But I was looking for 4k@120hz and it did seem like it was just almost capable. There were a few times I got it to work, but only briefly and only temporarily. It would display the screen at double width and cut the entire right side off. I had to fidget with my display settings to get it to work by setting it to a different resolution and then back to 4k. But if my pc went to sleep or I rebooted, when it came up, it was back to the doublewide. I switched to a separate DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter and a certified HDMI cable and the problem went away immediately.
