Monoprice Onix Series Cable is made from premium quality RG-6/U with double copper braid shielding to prevent signal degradation caused by EMI and RFI interference. Featuring a two gold plated RCA male connectors on each end, this cable is ideal for conducting line level RCA audio signals from a CD player, record player, or analog media device to an AV receiver or amplifier. The plastic cable jacket has been encased within braided nylon, which resists nicks and cuts without reducing cable flexibility. Additionally, the braided jacket gives a premium appearance over that of ordinary plastic jackets. The CL2 rating on this cable indicates that the jacket has been treated so that it complies with fire safety regulations, making it safe for use in or through the walls of residential class buildings. These cables are tough as nails and deliver premium sound quality. Downside to the toughness is that they are not very flexible. I do love that they have a locking feature. Overall they are exactly what they claim to be while looking and more importantly sounding great!

These are by far the best RCA cables I have ever owned. I have added the Outlaw 7000X amplifier to my home theater AVR and I wanted to make sure I had quality cables installed on it so I could get the best quality sound possible. Well these did the trick. The long black hex loosens up so after installed you can tighten them when inserted. Never had this style before but they work great! Very heavy construction with mesh on the outside. This was a first for me also. Very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend! 5 Star!

It works fine but I need a replacement. One of the set screws is missing. I have not heard from you for replacement of the cables. I emailed you just before Thanksgiving. Dislike it is missing the screw that holds the plastic guard to the plugs.

The cabling is a bit stiff but very easy to live with. The locking sleeves on the plugs make the days of cables slipping off of connectors a thing of the past. I am quite pleased with mine mechanically, esthetically, and most especially, sonically.

These are really premium feeling at an affordable price. I got the 6ft on sale for $6.96 excluding shipping. The cables are braided and the connection ends are very sturdy. The ends can twist to loosen and tighten the grip of the connection. The cable is a bit stiff, so if you need something more flexible I'll be cautious to try this or look at another product all together.
