This cable features 90-degree TRS/Stereo plugs on each end. It uses 16 AWG stranded, pure copper conductors and employs copper braid shielding with 97.5 Percent coverage to ensure that stray radio frequency and electromagnetic signals do not degrade the audio quality of your performance. The plugs are gold plated to provide smooth, corrosion-free connections as well as maximum electrical conductivity.
With two separate conductors and the common shield ground, this cable can be used as an unbalanced stereo patch cable or as a balanced mono patch cable.
Note that this cable is intended for general audio use. For high-end, low-noise performance and recording use we recommend our Cloth Series cables, PIDs 601410, 601415, and 601420.

Nice but too stiff for a patch cable
IF you want to have your pedals close to one another, look for one of the flatter/smaller diameter options out there. You can of course secure your pedals to the board but if your setup is more ad-hoc, these make it tougher to line up pedals near to one another.

Heavy duty cable but not very flexible
This cable appears to be very well made and rugged. I bought it to use with a foot switch mounted on a pedal board. Minor problem is the cable is so heavy duty, it is rigid, not very flexible. I did get it to work in my application but it was difficult to route. On the other hand, short TRS cables are hard to find, so I was glad Monoprice has this available.

As with all Monoprice products, the quality is outstanding. My only issue is this size cable isn’t offered with straight jacks for other patch applications.
