II love Monoprice. I have sent more business their way than I could possibly immagine. I love their products. The instrument cables are the worst ever made. I only buy "Planet Waves or Di Adarrio cables. They have a lifetime warranty. I can take them back, and have and get a new one on the spot. Make life easy and only by these cables.
Too Much Noise

Sadly the cable had very high noise and therefore was unusable for guitar to amp connections.
Useless as a guitar cable

This cable is not shielded properly so transmits a huge amount of line noise when my guitar volume is on about 8. We tried it on two guitars, two amps, two locations, all with the same results. My original cable (also Monoprice) was swapped back in with zero noise. Too bad because the build quality seems otherwise really solid.

I just sent it back a couple days ago because you were supposed to send me the TRS Cable with the angled ends. So I had to order it again and hopefully I will get it very soon and it is the right one this time around. Thanks Mark
Best out there!

These cables are super nice, really sturdy while flexible, and at a great price.
Well built...could use a little thicker gauge

I was hoping for a thicker cable to run out of my guitar amp but this will be fine. The ends stay put and that's really all I require other than gauge.
Works well in certain applications

Nice cable, seems to be very good quality but oh my gosh do not use to connect a guitar to an amplifier unless the performer is going to be completely still. Extremely noisy to the point I had to replace the cable mid song. Works ok as a patch cable from di to tube pre. Very odd this cable would behave this way possibly poor shielding?

They work fine, but I'm only using them at home so your results may vary depending on your conditions of use.

I originally purchased these cables for use with my effect pedals. Upon receiving them and seeing that they are high quality. I then decided to use them to daisy chain the two channels of my two vintage JMP MK2 1987s and my vintage 1987 Tremelo 50. There is no excessive noise. The signal is clear and doesn't break up at low volumes. The cable allows me to use the two channels of the amplifier in unison and by using the two channels volumes I'm able to warm or brighten the overall sound. These are high quality cables. Especially good pedal effect connectors if you need a little more length in your cable, especially compared to the common 6 inch right to same pedal patch cable

These cables were quality items and had Amphenol connectors. They were priced fairly, but the free shipping was very slow compared to other web stores.
Don’t want to knock it but it has a quirk

Cable feels like good quality and it’s shielded but it has a quirk: it sounds fine as a patch cord from my mixer to my reference monitors but it causes a buzz when I use it from my guitar to my amp. I‘m unsure why.

Great quality, durability. Looks good. Would have been 5 stars but in a recording situation you can detect a slight sound if you move the cable or tap it. Not a short though. This is in a fairly heavy pre-amping setup.
Works perfectly!

Right angle plugs. Perfect for a Quilter Block Dock speaker cabinet jack. Not enough room for a straight 1/4" plug.
ZERO STARS

Not recommended. Read all the microphonic reviews dating back to at least 2013. I bought two. Complained to Monoprice who sent two replacements. The cables are consistently microphonic and useless. For the intended application these get zero stars.
