Here is a quick tip in case it helps others. Some HDMI cabling is directional. When I installed this jack and connected the cable to the receiver, it didn't work. I later discovered the reason was that I ran the HDMI cable backwards. So just a quick tip for others, make sure you run your HDMI cables the correct direction.

Perfect for Wall Mount TV
I installed this behind a TV I mounted above a fireplace. This allowed me to run CAT 6 cable and HDMI cable through the wall and then run just a couple of short cables from the wall plate to the TV itself. Worked perfect.

Functional but fragile
Although these face plate do work, the way they are made makes them fragile. It seems that any tension on them from the cords inside the wall break them.
