Toslink allows for the distribution of uncompressed 2-channel PCM audio or compressed multichannel audio, such as DTS or Dolby 5.1 or 7.1. Being an optical signal, Toslink is immune to problems that can plague electrical signals, such as crosstalk, magnetic interference, or radio frequency interference. This cable features a full-sized Toslink connector on each end, with molded connector heads and strain-relief boots.

Great product at an even better price. My receiver has no arc and therefore cannot communication from the tv. This digital optical cable temporarily got me out of an audio jam.

Cable is nice and thin compared to coax so goes around corners and behind furniture better. Most computer motherboards these days seem to have optical ports instead of coax for digital output. I needed 19 feet for the run from my computer to my receiver and they don't make a 20 foot cable, so ordered the 25 foot. Shipping during COVID reopening took a week as expected, but sat in the local mailer facility from Friday afternoon until following Wednesday, so not sure why the extra delay.

Bought this to connect my new wall mounted 82” Samsung tv to a home theater receiver. I actually didn’t need a 25’ one but wanted some slack for hookup purposes. This Toslink cable is durable, well made, and definitely suitable for in-the-wall installation??I won’t ever buy any more from B...B.. Delighted with the audio quality??
