Monoprice Speaker Wire, CL2 Rated, 2-Conductor, 12AWG, 100ft, White

It's very difficult for a novice to find parts on your Web site. Even your searches do not display all of the "options" available. You almost have to "know" the path to finding the right parts. Your video of the searches is not up to date and not applicable. I was looking for Wall connectors for speakers.

Using the high-quality #2817 CL2 rated 12 gauge speaker wire, I sheath it in TechFlex, terminate with locking banana plugs and/or Deadbolt braided ends, and seal w/heat shrink tubing for a reliable, good-looking and high-performing speaker cable.

Scraping reveals just pure copper, measures to 12AWG, strands are pretty fine and insulation seems good. What's not to like?

came with wires installed. should've gotten black. 100ft roll makes it difficult to unbend the last 50ft. very curled.

I replaced some questionable 14 gauge wire with this 12 gauge. It made a huge, noticeable difference in the sound of my hi-fi system. I would buy it again.

Doesn't look as fresh as the transparent thick audio cable where the copper looks monster, but seeing as these live in the walls and are just as chunky I'm not complaining. the shielding is very easy to strip back and the only real issue is that I ran out mid cabling. So make sure you get as much as you need!!

Product was shipped and arrived as expected. Product is quality CL2 rated wire. Perfect for use when running in or through walls. Very happy with product. My wire runs (lengths) are about 50 feet. Wire quality is high, so sound quality to the speakers is as clear as if they were five feet from the stereo on professional quality wires. Used with 60-Watt 8ohm speakers.

Appears to be very good quality, like all the Monoprice products I've tried so far, but too stiff for use in point-to-point wiring or vehicular applications. Also the cable jacket is significantly oversized for 2 conductors, leaving a ton of spare room in the cable. The likely reason for this is that Monoprice created a single jacket for its 2-conductor & 4-conductor solutions, leaving a ton of spare room in the 2-conductor cable. In terms of stiffness, this Access Series wiring may be a little more pliable than the Monoprice Nimbus Series. Probably a decent solution for conduit or plenum applications where its stiffness would be a plus or applications where you really don't care that the jacket is taking up twice the space it should be?

12awg is more than most will want or need. Great for in-wall application with CL2 rating. Used it to hook up my parents stereo system. Nothing "esoteric" or snake-oily here. Just tried and true copper wire at a good gauge, and excellent price for bulk.

Works as it should. I am pushing this to a pair of Focal outdoor speakers and this wire handles the current from a Yamaha amp for a fantastic sound. Each run is longer than 50? so it?s resistance is very nice. Inexpensive to boot. Would recommend.

These are good cables for a very good price. I can recommend them for any speakers, especially for longer runs.

Ran several spools of 14/4 & 14/2 throughout a new house and it pulls great. Would highly recommend!

It?s super thick and sturdy. Because I?m getting the wires installed in my walls, I?m not worried about the wires getting damaged or deteriorating. I don?t think a rat can chew through this!

This cable will do the job, period. Don't waste your time on a "quest" to blow your hard earned money on scientific hype and pretty cables (if you like red,black and white, these cables are beautiful). You'll most likely get nothing more than just that and a pretty package. Do you hear the difference or is it just measurable? Maybe measurable, so get out your $25K HP Spectrum Analyzer to prove it. There's only so much science, and too much hype! These cables are nearly 100% oxygen free, ample strands of copper and adequate shielding for most applications. Properly gauge your cable to length and make sure your connections are solid. That's one important part. Quality audio begins with how you process it. Make sure you have decent patch cables (Monoprice) from the source device, to your amp/receiver and finally, this Monoprice Access cable to deliver those delicate frequencies to your speakers. It's all about capacitance, inductance and resistance. This cable is sufficient in all categories and performs extremely well. My bling of choice was 24K plated banana connections (Monoprice) placed at each end! Want better sound? Consider upgrading your source, processing and speakers. I use this cable on a high end 9.2 A/V system (APC/Definitive Technology/Panasonic/Yamaha)... and it sounds great!
