This item not only came with the box smashed and ripped but in the description it states USB powered. It does not use a usb only a cigarette lighter. Misleading.

the light from the head isn't strong enough to travel through the strip i tried different power sources though the standard power in the car is supposed to be enough and cutting/pushing it in as far as i could Assuming i got a defective product, you should really check out your dashboard and do the work ahead of time. My car doesn't have a lot of seams and these aren't stick on strips, they need to be inserted hence the flat part of the cable.

I was so excited to use this, but my Nissan Kicks 2025 does.not have a cigarette lighter, only a USB port. So sad, I am unable to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To install this kit, you will need a pair of scissors and some sort of pry tool for your car interior (if you want it). I have a Ford Focus and opted to install it in my door trim which was easier to pry up with my hands. Be aware that the laser lights do pop out a bit, but they are easy enough to hide. My only complaint is that the kit has super long electric cables, but only enough cable for 1 large project or maybe 2 small projects. Plan ahead of time what you want to do and look up how to remove the necessary panels, and you're all set! The app sadly didn't connect to my lights, so I just used the remote.
