Q: The lamps description says it has a two way rotary switch, what does that mean? When I turn the switch the light doesn’t come on until I turn it again and then it doesn’t turn off until I turn the switch a fourth time. Does this lamp take a 3 way bulb?

Q: What kind of light bulb would i need to purchase for the one that says it's a has a Light settings: 2-Way (Low High) in the description, because i looked on-line and only can find 3 way light bulbs.

Great lamp. Just the right size. To those whose shade broke and the designated replacement shade doesn’t fit, it appears the lamp has a place to attach a harp so you can then use any shade that has the spider structure at the top. Yes, a lot of work for a $60 lamp but you could have some fun with it.

Beautiful and cozy lamp. However as mentioned, the lampshade WILL break (on both of mine, very easily) and the replacement target sells doesn’t even fit. So then you’re left with an utterly useless lamp base, which is impossible to find a new lampshade to fit it. Such a bummer.

The lamp is lovely, however the metal support piece of the lamp is very fragile. Both of ours broke when tipped iver by our cat. That's not a huge deal, but the matching lampshade sold by Target doesn't fit the lamp! It's the exact same shade, except the circular metal piece that fits over the neck of the lamp base is too small. I haven't successfully found a replacement shade because the proportions of the base are tricky. I don't know why they wouldn't have their own lampshade for their lamps!
