Q: how does the shade connect at the top? Is there a knob that screws the shade at the top?
A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out. You attached this shade to the lamp base socket. Once the shade is placed on the lamp base socket it is secured when the light bulb is screwed in. We hope this helps! - Shatia
submitted byShatia - 2 years agoTarget staff supportA: These are UNO fitter shades. If you have Target lamps, you need to remove the lightbulb, then unscrew the top half of the bulb socket's outer casing; it screws back on over the shade ring.

submitted byJo - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: As far as I know, you can adapt a spider fitter shade for an UNO lamp base, using an UNO adapter that holds a harp, but there's no way to adapt an UNO shade for a harp without doing a good bit of DIY.
